SP1070 Series Proportional Solenoid Valves are 2/2-way, normally closed, direct-acting solenoid valves with proportional control.

The SP1070 proportional solenoid valves are preferred in applications requiring precise proportional control. Designed based on special calculations, the TORK SP series proportional solenoid valves provide flow control through voltage variation. For example, when the supply voltage to a proportional solenoid valve operating with a 24VDC coil is gradually increased from zero, the valve opens gradually and the flow increases. Similarly, when the 24VDC voltage is gradually decreased, the valve closes gradually and the flow decreases. The TORK SP series proportional solenoid valves can control flow very precisely, with an accuracy of up to 3%.

It is recommended to use solenoid valves with a filter. If the fluid contains particles such as sand or dirt, these can clog the valve and prevent its operation. Installing a filter at the valve inlet is therefore recommended. This also extends the service life of the valve.
